ค่าตกใจ หรือค่าจ้างแทนการบอกกล่าวล่วงหน้า เป็นเงินที่จ่ายเมื่อมีการเลิกจ้าง ในสัญญาจ้างที่ไม่มีกำหนดระยะเวลาแน่นอน เงินค่าตกใจ ในกรณีของการที่ถูกเลิกจ้างโดยไม่บอกให้รู้ก่อนล่วงหน้า หรือบอกล่วงหน้า 30   ค่าตกใจ คือเงินค่าชดเชยแทนการบอกล่วงหน้า ในกรณีเลิกจ้างทันที หรือให้ออกจากงานโดยไม่สมัครใจและไม่มีความผิดใดๆ โดยนายจ้างต้องจ่ายเงินแทน คำบอกกล่าวล่วงหน้า เป็นจำนวนเงินเท่ากับ 1 งวดของการ  โดยสรุปแล้ว นายจ้างต้องจ่ายค่าตกใจให้กับลูกจ้างรายเดือนนับจากวันที่เลิกจ้างเป็นระยะเวลา 1 เดือน หากให้ลูกจ้างออกจากงานทันทีนายจ้างต้องจ่ายเงินเดือนแทนการบอกกล่าวล่วงหน้า 1 เดือนครึ่ง ในกรณีของ  ค่าตกใจ คืออะไร ค่าบอกกล่าว หรือสินจ้างแทนการบอกกล่าวล่วงหน้า กรณีลูกจ้าง ไม่ได้ทำผิด แต่ต้องออกจากงาน แบบไม่ทันตั้งตัว นั่นคือ นายจ้างไม่แจ้งล่วงหน้า 1 งวดการจ่ายค่าจ้าง  ค่าตกใจคืออะไร ค่าตกใจ หรือที่เรียกว่า ค่าจ้างแทนการบอกกล่าวล่วงหน้า เป็นเงินที่นายจ้างต้องจ่ายให้ลูกจ้างในกรณีที่ต้องการเลิกจ้างทันทีโดยไม่ได้แจ้งให้ทราบล่วงหน้าตามระยะเวลาที่กฎหมายกำหนด กรณีที่ต้องจ่า
